After all, they think [b]they’re[/b] entitled, because they think in terms of MAWA, not MAGA (Make America White Again); plus they have Trump’s ear in that regard. And it’s part of what Southern Strategy managed to accomplish. The thing about the Democratic Party that you’ve forgotten is that it [b]still[/b] contains the full spectrum in terms of ideology: liberals, moderates [b]and[/b] some conservatives, even. The Republicans ran off their few liberals and many of their moderates have left as well. So the Democrats represent more people and ideas than can be pigeonholed. The left is who’s most vocally fighting Trump at present because of their feeling about immigrants and women’s reproductive rights, which the Republicans are actively trying to restrict. You know, “smaller government—small enough to fit in a woman’s uterus”. 😡
