Trump publicly took Putin’s word over that of his intelligence community—and that’s with 13 Russian nationals [b]in custody[/b] for interference in our elections process. They were taken into custody while the Republicans held [b]both[/b] houses. So you can’t blame [i]that[/i] on the Democrats, as much as I’m sure you’d like to.

@bijouxbroussard It hs been over two years and you still cannot accept that HRC simply ran a poor campaign and had no compelling plan for the future of America. When you add in her arrogance or laziness in not visiting swing states she desperately needed, Trump had a slam dunk victory.

Have you forgotten how close Obama was with Putin? Five years from now, you will still be with the same crowd accusing Trump of colluding with Russia to win the 2016 election, despite there being no evidence of collusion nor any crime committed if he and Putin had colluded. If collusion were a crime, HRC would have been in prison long ago. We have proof of her Russian collusion. Two years later, there is only proof of Trump running a better campaign.

Incidentally, the Republicans had plenty to say about Obama's civility to Putin, they were very critical---don't you remember that ? So it begs the question, especially in light of the connections between Trump's son, Trump's campaign team, meeting with Sergey Kislyak, the lies about Russian business dealings; [b]what changed[/b] ? I mean it's typical, Trump does all kinds of things Obama would've been skewered by the Republicans for doing. So I can't say I'm surprised. But I would love to know how you folks are so willing to look the other way with Trump's tweets, the lies he gets caught in, the revolving door that is his cabinet ? Folks going to jail for him. Say what you want, (and btw, I voted for Bernie in the primary--- voted [b]against[/b] Trump in Nov.) I just don't think there would've been as many scandals with HRC, well unless the GOP framed her. I don't doubt they would've tried.

@bijouxbroussard What did Trumpe do other than run a better campaign with an actual plan to help America recover from the previous eight disastrous years? HRC's arrogance was her downfall. If she had spent more-or any-time campaigning in swing states she lost, she might have broken the proverbial glass ceiling instead of watching in a drunken rage as Kellyanne Conway shattered it by becoming the first woman to lead a victorious U.S. presidential campaign.

btw, Socialism has killed over 100,000,000 people worldwide. It has failed everywhere and every time it has been tried. Why would anyone want that or expect it to succeed in America?

@StrictSouthernHOH I want to know what disastrous years those were—other than the fact that a black man was president. I’m sure to folks like Trump (and hey, possibly [b]you[/b], if you’re like some Southerners) [b]that[/b] was his main idea of a disaster right there. Obama got us out of a recession [b]and[/b] lowered the unemployment rate—while having to deal with a racist GOP obstructing him at every turn. All Trump did was maintain that trajectory, and you can look it up. That’s respectable enough, but Trump is such an angry racist, especially where Obama’s concerned that he’s had to either take undeserved credit or destroy anything involving him.
