Well Trump is part of the "neoconservative" mindset, which is deeply anti-American in that it opposes anything which benefits the working class. So it's not just Trump and his supporters. This is something that encompasses all neocon politicians, and it leaches over into the democrats as well since many of them are just neocon-lite.

@BlueMetalChick LOL, straight from Karl Marx's playbook.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 Well yes, I know you of all people hate it whenever workers are doing well. Because, y'know, fuck American citizens, they can all fuck off and die. They don't need good wages or healthcare or education. They're just a commodity, right? Something to make you richer? Something expendable and worthless that are a means to the end that is your profit margin?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BlueMetalChick Of course, I forgot, every working person in the USA is being oppressed by the wealthy corporations. Everyone lives in slums, 10 people jammed into a 200 square foot room, no chance for advancement.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 50% of the country earns $30,000 a year or less, meaning half of America qualifies for at least some type of welfare. 75% of the country lives paycheck-to-paycheck. Thirty million citizens don't have access to basic healthcare, and 45,000 people die annually directly because of not having healthcare. Wages are at an all-time low, unionization is as well, the American Society of Civil Engineers has graded the infrastructure ad D+ on an A-to-F scale.
Meanwhile, the wealthiest six individuals in the United States currently have an equal amount of money to the bottom 53%.
But like I said before, you think that's just the greatest and it needs to be continued.

@BlueMetalChick And what is the percentage that both work, earning $30,000 a year, live comfortably, in nice neighborhoods, raising their children? Everyone in this country has access to basic healthcare, just drop in on your local hospital, you will be treated. Wages have never been higher, thanks in part to the loss of union jobs, where companies now must compete for the best employees, with far fewer unemployed to choose from. Seems kinda funny that 4 of the 6 wealthiest are democrats, and do nothing with their money but sit on it, which I have no problem with as long as they earned it legally. Those top 6 pay how much Federal Income tax? Check the figures, you might be in for a surprise.

I don't think you read that correctly. Half of people who work a full-time job still qualify for welfare because they're so badly underpaid. So they live paycheck-to-paycheck. They pay high taxes, and get nothing in return for it. Their tax money is not spent on anything that helps them. Everyone in this country has access to basic healthcare, just drop in on your local hospital, you will be treated.
Yeah, and go fucking bankrupt. You have to pay tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars if you do that.Wages have never been higher...
And that's a flat-out lie. You lied. Wages are dropping at a steady rate. So you just told a lie about that....thanks in part to the loss of union jobs, where companies now must compete for the best employees, with far fewer unemployed to choose from.
The decline of unions has caused lower wages and worse safety regulations on job sites, not to mention companies can get away without paying for workers' compensation. If a person gets injured on the job because of an oversight by the employer, they're allowed to just fire them. Seems kinda funny that 4 of the 6 wealthiest are democrats, and do nothing with their money but sit on it, which I have no problem with as long as they earned it legally.
What's so funny about that? That's fucking disgusting. The democrats are corporatist shitheads. The only difference between them and the republicans is that they don't hate gay people.Check the figures, you might be in for a surprise.
Not really, no. Although you might be, since you did just lie about wages being "higher than ever" which is shown to be the complete opposite of true by all the figures, studies, numbers, and data. Not that you'd know, of course, since you just lied about it instead of looking up available information.

@BlueMetalChick Yes, I know, it is such a poor country, look at everyone walking around in rags, on foot, begging for scraps at the bread lines, the overwhelming majority of the folks in the USA. We had to build a wall around it to keep everyone from leaving, so the corporations would have someone to crush. If your interpretation of the pursuit of happiness is to be miserable every day, have at it, there are quite a few of us who are appreciative of what we have, and strive to make it better for everyone. You are guaranteed freedom of speech here, and implicant in that freedom is the freedom to not pay attention to the few determined to drag the remainder into the depths of your depression.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 Look at this comparatively. The United States is a developed nation, it's an industrialized modern power in the Western world. So compare the US to other nations of the same caliber, like the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Norway, Canada, Finland, or even Pacific Asian countries like Japan, Singapore, or Taiwan. When you stack it up, all of those countries have far better states of labor, their workers make more money, they have better education systems, better healthcare systems that cover more people and produce better health outcomes, their infrastructure is modernized and efficient. Don't you want that? Don't you want to be proud of your nation and have America be on par, or even better than, all those other places I just named?
Or would you rather that we remain as we are, with lower labor standards, and workers making less money, and struggling to provide for themselves despite working a full-time job, and a few tens of thousands dying yearly because they can't go to the doctor or hospital if they get sick or injured without going bankrupt, and young people can't go to school to get an education, and the roads and bridges and public transport and rail systems and sewers and power grid are all four decades out of date?

@BlueMetalChick I suspect those countries have immigration policies, so if the USA is such a terrible country, you can always immigrate to one of those other countries and stir up trouble there, if that would make you happy. There are those of us here who strive to improve their lives and the lives of others, within the constraints of the Constitution.

The American government PAID me to come here. I didn't wanna live in the USA but because y'all are so short staffed on people in a variety of scientific and mathematical fields of study, you need to ship these people in from China, India, Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, and a myriad of other places. Your country bribed me to come live here because I have a skill set that they needed. So fuck you telling me I'm "stirring up trouble." Maybe if you knew how to educate your own youth, you wouldn't need my ass over here to do what your own people can't. There are those of us here who strive to improve their lives and the lives of others, within the constraints of the Constitution.
Yeah. Like me. And then there are those who want to violate the Constitution. Like you. Because you regularly defend people who violate a multitude of constitutional laws and amendments and you think it's great. You wipe your ass with the Constitution.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BlueMetalChick Airplanes go in both directions.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 And? I'm still needed here. My field of study is badly understaffed in the US. You want me to leave the country? Have fun trying to replace me.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BlueMetalChick Would be easy to replace you, lots of democrats do nothing but bitch about everything, one less would not be missed.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 I'm not a democrat though. Democrats are corporatists who take money from special interest groups and then craft policy that favors those people they took money from.
You're really gonna call it "easy" to replace me? If it's so easy then why did you need to bribe me to come here and work in astronomy in the first place? You can't even afford to fund your own space program because all that money is going towards buying guns and missiles and bombs for Muslims.

@BlueMetalChick LOL, I am guessing you abandoned your country to come here and do your work, leaving your country less able to raise itself to another level, so it appears that you just jumped at the chance for a bigger paycheck.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 My country is doomed. Saudi Arabia is bombing the entire nation indiscriminately, murdering people at random, blockading the nation, no food or medicine is being allowed in, the drinking water is contaminated with cholera. I left my country because I didn't want to die as a dirty homeless waif. And I went to Australia after I left. I stayed there about six months but was offered money to move to the USA. I didn't want to, but my father lived in Chicago, and I wanted to be close to him. So I moved to America and I live here now. My dad won't leave; he's made a life and a name for himself here, and I won't leave my dad, so I'm here for now.

@BlueMetalChick I'm probably more of a libertarian/classical liberal. Beyond a "party". I believe people should run as independent.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BlueMetalChick Ok, wonderful, the United States has given you a chance to pursue your idea of happiness, which appears to be, aside from your work, to do your level best to sow discontent. Every country has difficulties, the way to fix them here is to work within the system to advance the culture. Does not happen overnight, takes time, but constant rabble rousing is a hindrance, not a solution.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 And how am I "rabble rousing?" I'm not causing destruction, engaging in physical violence, or breaking any laws. I'm condemning those who are breaking laws, while you're supporting them. You're telling everyone to shut up and ignore the people who are violating the US Constitution.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BlueMetalChick People like those in Mexico heading north?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 Well, they're trying to get to a US border checkpoint to apply for asylum. So they say they're trying to enter the country legally. We gotta wait till they get here to see if they make good on their word though, of course. But if they do what they said they're gonna do, then there isn't really any "rabble rousing" because they would be following the law.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@BlueMetalChick They already have asylum, as soon as they stepped into Mexico. Let Mexico do the vetting.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@sunsporter1649 As I understand, some decided to stay in Mexico, but others decided to travel further north towards America. At least that's what my sister told me.
