Do you have an automatic weapon in your home, and why?

I have one semiautomatic rifle, no automatic firearms.

@ravenwind43 I suppose that's a good reason. I want many things but can't have em. Military and police are the only ones that should have automatic weapons. And I'm not so sure about the police.
One can't even buy a AR 15 in California anymore. But if you are willing to pay you can get most anything you want.

@FelixLegion I take it you mean 'none of your business'? I would be interested to know what you use them for though? Oh, and are they in a secure cabinet?

@Bigrobbie Yes, we do. We are a large family and we all hunt to feed ourselves, but even if that were not the case we would keep guns for self defense and because it is our right. In Wyoming everyone carries with no need for a permit and all families own several guns. Shooting for fun, hunting and competition are a way of life for most here and we wouldn't want it any other way.
