Bill Clinton Said North Korea Would Dismantle Its Nuclear Program

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2017/08/09/that-time-bill-clinton-said-north-korea-will-dismantle-its-nuke-program-n1981099

"Before I take your questions, I'd like to say just a word about the framework with North Korea that Ambassador Gallucci signed this morning. This is a good deal for the United States," Clinton said at the press conference.
"North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program. South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.
"South Korea, with support from Japan and other nations, will bear most of the cost of providing North Korea with fuel to make up for the nuclear energy it is losing, and they will pay for an alternative power system for North Korea that will allow them to produce electricity while making it much harder for them to produce nuclear weapons.
"The United States and international inspectors will carefully monitor North Korea to make sure it keeps its commitments. Only as it does so will North Korea fully join the community of nations."

Paranoid man
In mid 30s
At the height of paranoia
At the zenith of his powers
By bed, replica shooter
Zenith dissolving
By his bed replica shooter
In the zenith of his powers

When girls pass, puts his head down, in the street
His neighbors now are listening to this
Shakes in the chemist's
While buying his vits
Puts his head down
When girls pass in the street
Shakes in the chemist
Paranoid man in his late 30s
32, 45
Reaches its summit
Male, mid 30s, white, paranoia.

North Korea has no reason to dismantle its nuclear program. I'd be willing to say that their nukes are the biggest reason the United States hasn't invaded them yet. And there's no chance they're going to agree with the US to willingly give up their nukes in exchange for a treaty of some kind. America told Gaddafi the same thing, and he agreed to it, but then they still invaded him anyway. This is what happens why you cry wolf. Nobody trusts you anymore.

Haha North Korea would never dismantle their weapons. If I was a dictator and had that type of mindset I wouldn't in a million years. You don't just sit by a campfire and "talk it out" over marshmallows. This is a guy who puts whole families in work camps just for one person leaving.

I wouldn't believe our govt for a minute if they said "we'll keep close watch on N. Korea to make sure no nukes." Yeah right. Kim Jong has that country on the lock down even when tourists go to visit, you have to have two state sponsors at all times and actually have to listen to their fucked up version of history.

That's even if state security over there actually decides to let you leave instead of making up some story about how there's grainy footage of a person tearing down a poster or if God forbid you looked at the mighty statue of Kim Jong the wrong way.. well good luck to you!

In other news there's video footage of North Korean soldiers beating an Chinese woman against the wall. Sorry but you can't just "talk" to those people.

@QuixoticSoul That's weird but I'm glad it semi worked. Kim Jong doesn't strike me as the honest type of guy so I just naturally think he's sitting on at least one nuke somewhere hidden in N. Korea lol.

@SatanBurger

You mean in addition to the one just detonated?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@jackjjackson Yeah lol in addition. OK probably like two or three more.

Wonder why the media, always so concerned about world affairs, has not ran him down to get some current excuses, er, comments.

If anyone is interested in learning about how that particular deal broke down, the post had a good article on it.

@jackjjackson Yes, it is shocking the corrupt left wing media would fail to report on that since the conclusion pretty well lays the blame in bill clintons lap. It was the same foreign policy advisor who said he told his advisors around the same time that he just, in her words, wanted "to hold terrorism at bay and let the next president deal with it". She claims he actually said that. I can believe it. Sounds pretty much like democrat foreign policy.

@jackjjackson The game was up after '06, and Obama inherited a nuclear Korea.

There aren't any great solutions or obvious moves here. I predict more containment and sanctions. Trump being at the helm increases volatility, but in the end his choices are as limited as anyone else's.

He said a lot of things, didn't he?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti

There is no indication that Mrs C even treated her so called spouse well.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@jackjjackson *remembering the black eye when he was president*
katielass · F
@cherokeepatti yes, he said a lot of lies, just like his wife, just like obama, just like all democrats.

Maybe the world was different 23 years ago. Kim's father was in charge.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout does it matter?
