Bill Clinton Said North Korea Would Dismantle Its Nuclear Program

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2017/08/09/that-time-bill-clinton-said-north-korea-will-dismantle-its-nuke-program-n1981099

"Before I take your questions, I'd like to say just a word about the framework with North Korea that Ambassador Gallucci signed this morning. This is a good deal for the United States," Clinton said at the press conference.
"North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program. South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.
"South Korea, with support from Japan and other nations, will bear most of the cost of providing North Korea with fuel to make up for the nuclear energy it is losing, and they will pay for an alternative power system for North Korea that will allow them to produce electricity while making it much harder for them to produce nuclear weapons.
"The United States and international inspectors will carefully monitor North Korea to make sure it keeps its commitments. Only as it does so will North Korea fully join the community of nations."

Haha North Korea would never dismantle their weapons. If I was a dictator and had that type of mindset I wouldn't in a million years. You don't just sit by a campfire and "talk it out" over marshmallows. This is a guy who puts whole families in work camps just for one person leaving.

I wouldn't believe our govt for a minute if they said "we'll keep close watch on N. Korea to make sure no nukes." Yeah right. Kim Jong has that country on the lock down even when tourists go to visit, you have to have two state sponsors at all times and actually have to listen to their fucked up version of history.

That's even if state security over there actually decides to let you leave instead of making up some story about how there's grainy footage of a person tearing down a poster or if God forbid you looked at the mighty statue of Kim Jong the wrong way.. well good luck to you!

In other news there's video footage of North Korean soldiers beating an Chinese woman against the wall. Sorry but you can't just "talk" to those people.

@SatanBurger The inspections regimen actually did work, strangely enough. IAEA regularly inspected the Yongbyon plant until the deal broke down.

@QuixoticSoul That's weird but I'm glad it semi worked. Kim Jong doesn't strike me as the honest type of guy so I just naturally think he's sitting on at least one nuke somewhere hidden in N. Korea lol.

@SatanBurger

You mean in addition to the one just detonated?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@jackjjackson Yeah lol in addition. OK probably like two or three more.
