My 8 y/o Sonim xp8 has given me a sign it needs to be finally replaced... She's giving up the ghost captain!

So I just ordered an xp10 the replacement model at A$1754.50 outright as if the existing phone's exterior is going to start failing in interesting ways it's days of industry are soon to expire.

The hardware mostly still works great so testament to the build quality as a rugged device.
