how can I fix my TracFone so it charges or do I need another phone?

when I tried to charge my phone yesterday it was charged 50% and it went up to 60% and then stopped, then it said it will start charging when the phone gets warmer. it did accidentally get dropped in the toilet and I did wipe it up right away, I'm trying to charge it now, its on 55%, most of yesterday it stayed on 60%, usually it goes down during the day, I need to be able to charge my phone, I tried buying another charger at the store downstairs but it still didn't want to charge, now on the phone that charge symbol on top moves a little, does that mean it might charge soon? do I need to get another phone?it is cold here cause its colder outside now, I'm in Syracuse NY now, anyways to get this phone to charge so I can use it more? or should I get a new one?
