@ShiningGundam99 somewhat old. They keep making new brands every each year. I have a Google Pixel 6 probably from 2019 with a different operating system so it would completely be my phone and freedom to use other than Google OS.

My Sonim Xp8 was bought new by me (outright so I fully own it) in 2018. The replacement model (xp10) only became available last year and costs A$1795. My circa 2018 xp8 will keep being used until 4g goes away I suspect since a new device is not affordable now I have a mortgage on a house.
It'll still work just fine... But not the internet apps.
@zonavar68 if you want to use it as phone.... It'll keep working...

@Royricky09 Yes a 'phone' isn't a phone anymore if you use mobile devices. It's not possible anymore here to get a true fixed-line phone in this area since mid-2020. I don't need high speed internet to use my devices.
@zonavar68 I'm glad I'm one of those who still use it as a cell phone mostly.
