@Spoiledbrat yes, some don’t fit nicely. Same problem with me. That’s why I use sony headset noise cancellation.

@samueltyler2 I understand what you are trying to say. Companies research the market and then build a product based on what the customers want/need. Then according to the reviews, the product gets developed.
In the case of 3.5 mm jack, I am not sure what's going on. Majority of the customers are probably happy with the Bluetooth option due to its flexibility. However, there's a significant population that prefers the headphones/earphones jack due to the higher quality of the sound.

@Riemann the research is usually conducted with a small group. Further, usually the company, many times, has decided what it wants before asking, is actually asking for approval.
