Can a communist country such as China for example read peoples messages?

Like iMessages for example? Or would apples privacy features stop the scanning of iMessages regardless of the wifi you are connected to or what someone’s country is trying to censor? The same for apps owned by Facebook such as WhatsApp?

Anything on your devices are being tracked, your location, photos, conversations and messages. Ever notice you talk about something then go on Facebook and see an ad for what you just talked about? They see thru your device cameras and listen to the mic, even when you’re not using them
