How can I find someone in the States tel number?

I found a woman’s wallet in a bathroom, she had her Arizona driving license, cash and her boarding pass inside it. I’m trying to get a hold of her to give it to her. I found her on white pages but it says only American citizens can access the page or I have to pay to get numbers from my country. Any tips? We have tried Facebook btw.

Give me the link to her name and I'll get her number for you as long as it's free for me in the US.
@SinlessOnslaught thanks…I’ll pm you the details.

@CrystalSkull Okay. I'm at work so I might disappear but I'll be back.
@SinlessOnslaught ok…just respond with a hi first…it won’t let me message more than once because you’re not on my contacts please. Appreciated.

finding her phone number won't matter. many of have land lines that are disconnected. Those are the ones listed. cell phones are not published.

If you mean the airport bathroom and If you have boarding pass she is still in your country. if you can find a way to get it to the airline counter she would go to she will have to go there at some point. Or have her paged assuming she is sill in the airport

She needs ID to board and may contact the embassy for that. that is a tough one. nice of you to try to find her
@robertsnj I found a land line and got through to an answering machine, thought about it, who has land lines anymore. I wasn’t at the airport.
@CrystalSkull My mil does.

Since you have the boarding pass, then the airline has her on their system and her contact info.

Yeah, I'd contact the airline. They often have big programs for lost luggage and this more or less that.
@JoyfulSilence @Starcrossed Thanks, I wasn’t at the airport but that’s a plan. I did manage to get hold of someone at the embassy who said I should call today, so here’s hoping

@pdockal I managed to speak to an official who deals with emergencies. He said he’ll see what he can do tomorrow.

@CrystalSkull

Maybe call the credit card company
They might be able to get in touch with her

If you have her driver's license, write her a letter telling her you have her wallet and things. I know writing letters blows peoples mind these days, but they work and get delivered with only a postage stamp.
@WillaKissing I’ll do so.

You efforts are noble. I have had that happen a couple times myself. The best and probably most responsible thing to do is take it to your local police station. They'll do the rest.
CestManan · 46-50, F
Being in another country and losing that stuff would be horrifying.

I mean it is rough when it is in our own town or country but abroad?
@CestManan exactly.
I'd leave it with the authorities of wherever you found it.
@Spoiledbrat in this country all the money would be gone if I had done that. Lots of money in there.
@CrystalSkull Did you find her?
GunFinger · F
Maybe hand it at the police station?
GunFinger · F
@CrystalSkull police will do that? That's so unfortunate.
@GunFinger I pretty much think yes. That’s why I kept the wallet.
@GunFinger Sadly yes, cops are among the worst thieves when wallets and purses are turned in, usually claiming the "good samaritan probably took it."
Mmiker · 46-50, M
That’s very nice of you to want to return it.

The police can help
You can also use Google by her name and state. It is a helpful tool
@mindlessdrifter US embassy has it now.
@CrystalSkull That would make sense then
@mindlessdrifter they couldn’t trace her here either btw…
She'd most likely had still been there, it would have been easier to have a ticket counter clerk page them.
@NativePortlander1970 At a petrol station in the middle of nowhere.
@CrystalSkull How far was the airport from there?
@NativePortlander1970 about an hour away.
