Likely it's because of Cloudflare. This site is using that cloud system now.

Well first what i5? The first i5 750 goes all the way back to 2009. And there has been several iterations since.

Also software optimization basically no longer exists. Chrome will eat through 8GB basically doing nothing.

So close tabs you don't need and kill apps you don't need.

And if you are using Windows it has massive amounts of bloat too.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow This is what I'm hearing
But what I really want to know is an upgrade to 32 gigs of RAM gonna solve this?

Which gen is your CPU and motherboard?
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@basilfawlty89 I don't know brother. How do I find out?
Jessmari · 46-50, T
The easiest and most simple thing to do is reduce the amount of unnecessary background ups running. Remove or change the settings for apps that run at start up.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@Jessmari So installing 32 GB of RAM won't help?
Jessmari · 46-50, T
@H1raeth I would say get the ram upgrade, but it's always good to manage your resources.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@Jessmari Thankyou

I5 processor is still good. Ram is the issue. But if your ram is 16 gb then Inthink there is some other issue.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@OriginalDumbMan Thankyou and God bless.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@OriginalDumbMan I have 16 GB or Ram but it's still almost totally used up by various browser tabs.
OriginalDumbMan · 36-40
@H1raeth 16 gb of ram is enough for browsing and even games. Provided you are not opening insanely high no. Of tabs
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I don't think this is a hardware issue. If you use Windows, it's most likely because of Windows.

There can be many bottlenecks and similarly different solutions for it. Like the bottleneck could be the processor, RAM, Network, etc.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@ABCDEF7 Yes totally. The RAM is maxing out.

Windows

I just want to be sure so I don't waste money on more RAM if it's gonna do nothing.
ABCDEF7 · M
@H1raeth You can also try fixing it without purchasing New RAM
H1raeth · 36-40, M
@ABCDEF7 It's fine. It has been like this since the day I bought it and Malware Bytes shows no malware.
