My computer has a fairly decent processor, an Intel i5, yet when a browser window does something like the Similar Worlds 'ding' it lags for a second?

Just wondered if more RAM would fix this?

Like when the ding happens, the song I'm listening to on YouTube in another tab, cuts out for a second.

There can be many bottlenecks and similarly different solutions for it. Like the bottleneck could be the processor, RAM, Network, etc.

@ABCDEF7 Thankyou. The network works fine on my Dads computer.

@H1raeth Then its easy you can check task manager during the time you are facing the issue, if you'reusing Windows. Are you using Windows or Mac?

@ABCDEF7 Yes totally. The RAM is maxing out.

Windows

I just want to be sure so I don't waste money on more RAM if it's gonna do nothing.

@H1raeth You can also try fixing it without purchasing New RAM

@ABCDEF7 It's fine. It has been like this since the day I bought it and Malware Bytes shows no malware.
