My computer has a fairly decent processor, an Intel i5, yet when a browser window does something like the Similar Worlds 'ding' it lags for a second?

Just wondered if more RAM would fix this?

Like when the ding happens, the song I'm listening to on YouTube in another tab, cuts out for a second.

The easiest and most simple thing to do is reduce the amount of unnecessary background ups running. Remove or change the settings for apps that run at start up.

@Jessmari So installing 32 GB of RAM won't help?

@H1raeth I would say get the ram upgrade, but it's always good to manage your resources.
