Use Brave and or DuckDuckGo, they're browsers with built in adblockers. I use the Brave app to watch ad free youtube for free.

@PinkMoon Same. I use it on my PC and my phone. I was not aware of the App tracking feature on my phone when i installed....but got a pleasant suprise later when it showed one app....which seemed harmless...App used to find hiking trails. DDG blocked thousands of tracking attempts from that one App...that App was quickly uninstalled 😀

@PHlover19701 I know this is weird but I'm so happy to finally meet someone who appreciates DDG as much as I do😂🙈. Usually people are indifferent to having every app on their phone sell their information to companies all across the globe.

@PinkMoon I know, right. I get so many spam messages (email & text) because someone installed an App that had permissions to go into their contact list...granted, some app need that access to do what they need to do...but a LOT dont need that kind of access. I use another called Should I Answer. It does a good job blocking phone calls...I have it set to only allow those in my contact list to get thtough. Sometimes it misses, but Id say it catches better than 90%.

I run Firefox on my desktop PC and in the browser you can get addons. I have theAdBlocker Ultimate and uBlockOrigin addons installed in my Firefox browser.
Not sure if Firefox works on anything other than a computer like an iPad.

I have Adblock Plus, which if I remember correctly is an extension for Google Chrome and is available to install free from their store. It's mostly effective, but no longer works on Facebook or YouTube which now circumvent ad-blockers. Another reason to ditch both of those garbage sites.

@SeekingConnection do you know if it works on IPad?
SeekingConnection · 61-69, M
@tobynshorty I'm sorry, I don't, but I'm sure someone here will know.
