I got a new gaming PC

It's low end by gaming standards but I'm excited anyway :D

What games will you play on it?
KiwiDan · 31-35, M
@caPnAhab Not for a while yet, given I spent over $1400 on it today

@KiwiDan but eventually? Space Marines 2 did something cool I haven't seen another game do. Have you seen how the Swarms in the background can approach and engage with the player?
KiwiDan · 31-35, M
@caPnAhab No, I had no idea. But eventually, yes

Excellent. I hope its all the fun youve expected.
KiwiDan · 31-35, M
@jehova It's amazing! I love it so much.
@KiwiDan honestly at the end of the day, as long as it's powerful enough for what you use it for, who cares if it's low end, mid range, or high end? Hardware components become obsolete in a few years anyways, with all the new games and graphical techniques introduced (on top of developers getting lazier with optimization)

Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 We are so happy for you 🙂🙂🙂🙂 What brand is it and what are the specs?
@Musicman until i know the other specs, I can only assume it's lower mid range
KiwiDan · 31-35, M
@uikakarotuevegeta It's a 1TB SSD, Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050, I don't know what a PSU is
@KiwiDan ah ok, then that's good (even if it's SATA instead of NVME SSD)

Yeah RTX 3050 is kind of low end now, but with DLSS it shouldn't be too much of an issue. You got the 8GB variant right? Nvidia released 6GB and 8GB for desktop, with the 6GB I think also having overall lower specs.

PSU is the power supply, with the specs that matter for that being the amount of watts and its efficiency rating (measured in terms of metal tiers)
