How do you keep dust out of your computer?

MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
I use compressed air cans

@GuyWithOpinions I'll tell you in a month, I just ever-so-lightly used dusting spray on my keyboard and wiped it with a duster

1 day on, no dust, no ill effects on the keyboard

@RoxClymer the fans in my computer are gross. Feels like it collects a pile of dust every month

@GuyWithOpinions The thing is that you'll collect dust quickly if you live in a dusty or messy environment. You can't prevent dust from coming in, because you need ventilation.Everyone just clean them from time to time.

I'm honestly not sure if I'm doing it right. Sometimes I use cotton cloth and alcohol but the tech guy in the store says don't do that. So I started using microfiber more often.

But maybe there's a solution specifically for gadgets? Idk.

@Casheyane your not supposed to use any moisture or anything that causes static
DankSinatra312 · 26-30, M
@Casheyane just don’t douse that shit. Alcohol on a cotton swab isn’t bad.

By licking a corn dog

Pull that shit apart. I have a Legion Go and 2 grand PC that I frequently clean out. Prevents overheating and crazy issues.
Official answer? Regular maintence is removing it with compresssed air. That's the official procedure.
