I feel like it's a temporary position. It seems like they threw this together overnight, as someone convinced them that AI was a major concern that needed immediate attention (as we've been seeing from a lot of people in the news lately). I imagine that once they actually figure out what they're doing, they'll replace her with someone who actually... Y'know... Works with AI.
