Honestly, I hated it when I first got it. I had to call Apple support 5 or 6 times to get it set up properly. And since I've had it, it has come in useful in some specific circumstances, but it was never anything I really needed. There are a lot of things I would have preferred to spend that money on.

@DunningKruger makes sense. I don’t even wear a watch now and haven’t in years. I think some of the reason I want one is for work. I’m constantly getting in trouble for checking my phone because I am a phone addict. At least with a watch I can look at it without getting in too much trouble. Lol

@Mardrae For me, the most valuable thing the watch has done is to let me listen to podcasts when I'm out walking without having to lug the phone with me, and to receive phone calls when I'm away from the phone. So, it's not like it isn't useful at all.

@DunningKruger yeah, that would be useful. Can you charge it somehow while still wearing it or do you have to take it off? Are there different bands for it you can buy?
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@Mardrae It uses a magnetic attachment to charge, so I doubt if you could wear it while it charged. There are lots of different bands, but I just got a basic, sort-of rubbery band because I expected to wear the watch while walking or working out, so sweating on it.

@DunningKruger that’s smart. I work out every day so I would need that kind of band too. Is yours an 8? I was reading that they are waterproof
