Did you install Microsoft Office 365?
If so, you may have inadvertently activated Microsoft Teams, which comes as part of the package.
If you need a platform that allows you to conduct Audio/Video meetings with one or more parties, have the software take notes, publish the notes, create follow up items/meetings for you, allow you to publish notes on website-like areas, manage your schedule, etc. then it's perfect for you.
Most people simply want to click on a button and do a video call, and for that there are plenty of freebie tools.
It works on Windows, Mac, and a bunch of mobile devices that use both Android and Apple OS'es.

It's Microsoft's version of Slack. If you don't have a job that uses it, there's no reason to use it and there's probably a setting somewhere where you can turn it off on startup.

@basilfawlty89 I only use it for my job. It seems to be buggy in random ways
