Were you ever afraid of squirrels?

Humans suck! We demonize animals all the time. I am a squirrel lover. I feed many every day. One sits on my knee and eats her peanuts. The others, 6, are healthy, trusting, gentle and intelligent creatures. I am SO sick of hearing people say they are rabid...they say the same about Pigeons and anything else that is below the knee. All you have to do is LOOK at an animal that is rabid and you KNOW it's sick. A small percentage are sick.

I was never afraid of squirrels though I'd heard they could carry rabies, but I knew not to mess with them...they will tear you up if agitated or angry. Now what I did have a fear of was Bats.

Not afraid but I did hear about rabies so I was sad that I couldn't cuddle them lovingly.

Nope. I'm Australian. We have plenty of other things to be worried about here.

I dislike squirrels 🐿 .... i could never harm one but they give me chills urgh lol

They can be more of a pain in the butt, it isn't the worst thing to deal with though 😑

What about rabbits?

No. I was just indifferent to them. They were everywhere.

They are cute as hell, but, they can be very vicious.

Not afraid, but I respect their fierceness. A squirrel barked at me once and I heard another one make an unholy noise to a cat. I still think they're lovely, though.

Extremely wary....the little bastards are unpredictable!
