I have pictures in my bedroom with my last dog I have . He had his own personality.
When it would rain he'd stay out and when it was sunny he'd go back into the house .
He had all the neighbours driven mad cause he'd be barking non stop 😂😂😂

I feel your pain and grief. My dogs are members of my family and I deeply feel those loses.
But I think the pet store worker was trying to show empathy and compassion. Sometimes others don’t understand when we are still mourning.
God bless you and your son.

After 2 weeks of losing a dog, the animal shelter where I got him from had another dog they recommended to me. I Still remember the first dog, as i have his ashes on my bookshelf. I adopted the dog they recommended, and 12 years later she is still with me, Happy to be adopted.

Still in my ❤That is so insensitive of her. That's awful. I'm so sorry. That is a hard thing to get over. I'm still not over losing mine and that was years ago. It's still hurts. 🫂

I'm sure she meant well, being an animal lover, thinking the boy needs a dog, the dog needs a home, win-win! Not realizing she was crossing the line into None of Her Business.

@Cigarguy101 🤔sorry using a kid in an hard sell by the owner over your personal emotional feelings about the loss of youur previous pet is wrong .

Wow. You'd think she would know better.
I don't think I would have been able to keep quiet. I would have gotten loud about it. Just been like, "OH, WOW! I didn't realize I should just be able to shut off my grief over my dead pet!"

@LordShadowfire it might of been different if my son wasn't with me

I feel for you, yet, I have anger about that comment.Ticks me TF off when people spout that nonsense.

Such an insensitive thing to say. Sounds like she has no common sense either, pushing you to adopt

Not a good sales tactic 🤦🏻♀

What a horrid thing to say. Such a cruel, insensitive person should not be working with animals. 😠
Sounds like PetStupid instead of PetSmart. 🐶

@Lilliesandlight I get she was trying to find homes for the dogs but that's not the way to do.
Lilliesandlight · 41-45, F
@Cigarguy101 she was just trying to get money
