i cut my baby’s nails & cut the quick 😭 she bled for what seemed like FOREVER, i mean heavy bleeding. she didn’t yelp or whimper when it happened though. but the bleeding… man!! all over the floor and the bed sheets it looks like a whole crime scene in my bedroom right now. she finally stopped bleeding i think, i was holding pressure on it & now we’ve got it wrapped in a bandage, it’s taped on her foot pretty good. & a doggy sock is also on her foot just to make sure lol.
It is hard not to cut it. EDIT - depending, but it looks like a lot of places charge anywhere from $15 to $25 to do a nail trim if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.
Only difficult part, sometimes after an experience like the "quick" being cut, dogs get real nervous about future trims.
@CestManan i always cut her nails. this is the first time i got the quick 😭😭😭😭😭 i feel so awful but she didn’t whimper, she isn’t limping or in pain so that’s good. now she’s walking funny because the sock is on her foot and she hates that lol but its staying there til morning🥴 imma be just as nervous as she’s gonna be next time i do her nails trust me😭
