Ever get the feeling dogs want to talk but they know they can't and it frustrates them?

it's like my cats - they KNOW how to talk - we just don't know how to listen.

I do think they are more emotionally intelligent than we give em credit for. Cats and dogs have been living alongside us for thousands of years, surely they've picked something up.
