If you really think about it

Cat and human relationships are so funny, the cat brings dead things because it loves you, then it's all like "here's the corpse of a rat I give you as a present." We're all like awwwwww collectively but if a human did that for another human, they'd call the cops lol

I'm pretty sure many of us do not say or think "awwwwww" when our cats bring us dead or wounded little creatures. Other than that...good point! 😼

@Piper I did haha, I thought it was adorable because my cat was so excited telling me all about it that she'd drop it and then forgot, then pick it up again and repeat haha. I thought it was so funny, the rest of the family didn't though.

@SatanBurger 🤔just a moggy thing a show of affection bringing you a dead rodent lol

My friend always interpreted that behavior in his cat as "bragging." The cat lived to a very old age, and my friend figured she wanted to show him that she still "had it!" 😄

@DrWatson Lol cats sure chatter like they're bragging after a hunt, that's a good point lol.
I wonder if that's what the Gods think when we sacrifice animals or children

@BRUUH Probably
i don't believe a cat brings gifts.

after close observation i've come to the conclusion, cats are opportunistic killers.

it simply means the cat is not hungry right now. but has a stash stored safely at home.. for later..

Only some would.
