I think my cat might be smarter than me. First of all, the house we live in, I built. So I know every Square foot and every nook and cranny
so you d think. She's constantly staying out of sight. Won't respond when I call her And I know she can hear me. I usually find Her hiding spots. And when I do, she finds a new one. But lately I cannot find Her spot at all. I've been looking for weeks. Funny thing is If I go outside to go for a walk She appears out of thin air. I'm pretty sure she follows me around from afar Because she loves to ambush me and then take off. Yeah, and so far, she's winning.

Of course your cat is smarter than you. When was the last time she shopped for your meals?? And FYI. That look you sometimes see her giving you when when you are watching TV is her planning which part of your face to eat if you die and fail to deliver dinner on time...😷

My cat is able to crawl up inside the back of the recliner chair, and hides inside it. Quite amazing, really.

Admit she's smarter than you. I do that with my cats every day. They coral me into giving them everything. This one just knows how to play Houdini, then when you go for a walk, she shows up shining some light on you saying, I wanted you to take me here. That's how cats work. It's endearing.
