From experience 12 is too many for sure. 8 or so isn't too bad but I think 5 or fewer is optimal. I did like it when they would all come out to join me when they saw me walking back towards the house - a couple of times even other cats who weren't related joined in and then weren't sure what to do when they got to the house! 🤣

For a small apartment, two work well for me. However, if I had a cabin in the woods, the sky's the limit. I love cats. <3

as a woman approaches 50 she can't have to many cats. that's why they call it manypaws

I have six and it works fine for me and my gf. For some one pet is one too many. It depends on the person and their situation.

Yeah I'd say three... I've always had just one, but two might be sweet.
Iwantout · 26-30, M
I'd say two is the right amount

One is too many. The best cat is a dead cat.
