Cereal thief

Having my breakfast at my desk this morning and leave the room for a couple of minutes, come back and my kitty is up on the desk wolfing down my dry All Bran buds like it was caviar, she probably only gobbled maybe a soup spoon or two but good grief i hope she doesn't make a habit of this! 🙃🐱

@spjennifer the cat we have at the moment was a little bugger as a kitten she would paw stuff of your plate as you where eating . thankfully as an older cat she sits by your side at mealtime and waits to be fed titbits😆one think for your kitty is it could regret eating bran as it may find it needs more trips to her kitty tray

@smiler2012 She knows she's not allowed on the counters or anywhere near the table or food when I'm preparing or eating, not that it stops her from going on the counters the rest of the time but her treats are on the counter and she leaves them alone till I give her some. I'll let her get a few crumbs of grated cheese every once in a while as she loves that. We'll see if the bran affects her, not that she ate a whole bowl of it but she seemed to be really into it 😃

You know, I had indoor cats for over 10 years and never had a problem with any of them getting on my counters or into my food. 🤔

@DearAmbellina2113 I've had indoor cats for close to 50 years, this one is my 3rd. Honestly I don't mind where she climbs as she's not destructive or greedy aside from this one time though she goes wild for anything minty or mentholated.

@Wiseacre Oh she's very well fed and has free feed of kibble aside from the wet food she gets every day, I've had her for 14 years and she's always wolfed food down like it was gonna disappear if she didn't. She was neglected as a wee kitten before I got her so that's probably why.
