Which brand of dog food should I buy?

There are so many dog food brands out there and I'm confused at the moment, any advice?

Better for their health and teeth if you buy fresh, natural foods - and much cheaper.
At least 10% of the bul should be protein, such as chicken, turkey, fish, lean beef; can be up to 50%.
Up to 50% carbohydrates, such as cooked rice or potatoes (also provides some fiber)
About 2.5-4.5% fiber, which can come from vegetables like peas, green beans, and carrots.
At least 5.5% fat, usually in the form of vegetable oil.
Dogs, being partial omnivores, should have at least some veggies. This provides the nourishment they would get in the wild from eating the contents of the intestines of their prey.

Give your dog a raw bone every day to ensure he keeps his teeth clean.
Raw bones are also a natural source of calcium and phosphorus.
The chewing keeps him busy and happy for a few hours.
Cooked bones are dangerous as they splinter too easily and can seriously harm dogs.

Olly, Farmers dog, Pet Plate, are the three best-wet foods, also get a weight management kibble to mix into the wet food

A former roommate had an aunt who was a dog specialist and she said any dogfood you buy at the supermarket is like a human being eating nothing but fast food.
I feed Victor. High protein, low fat, rich in Omega-3, and gluten-free among other healthy ingredients.
I give my dog Whole Hearted grain free canned food from Petco. She's older and doesn't tolerate much else.

Cook the food is the best buy , minced meat and some carrots, and celery or whatever you’re dog eats, and cook it it’s much healthier

read the ingredients. The top ingredients are the ones they use the most of. this goes for both wet and dry. avoid anything where the first ingredient is "by product" or corn meal.

the bad news is the healthier dog foods tend to cost more. If you grabbed the cheapest brand you probably are feeding your dog crap.
