I love him to bits and pieces

when he's a pup...
he's our neighbor's but I was smitten so whenever he passed by my gate, I gave him food until it became our morning ritual.
He'd wait for me at the gate to feed him before I went to work
so the neighbor eventually gave him to me

now a grown-up...after five years
he always taps my arm with his paw when I'm working to get my attention
I will caress his face as he wags his tail with a big smile
the most loving and loyal creature in my life
