I don't think that anyone should be pressured to move on (or pressured to not move on)....it's something that everyone has to determine for themselves.
Some have no desire to enter another romantic relationship, some don't want to do so for several years and some are eager to seek another relationship after a short period of time.
There's no right or wrong answer in general, but each person should decide for himself/herself.

Been there and it’s the height of insensitivity. And excuses such as people don’t know what to say? I’d greatly prefer they say nothing at all.
