Honestly though a lot of stuff that is in the Bible just does not align whatsoever with how the world works today. Yeah there's some of those extremely weird rules in the Bible that are insane but some of them, even though they might work, just are not going to happen. Like that whole thing about not working on the day of the sabbath? Just try to convince companies of that one
The love of Money is warned against and discouraged. God is a God a Plenty, Prosperity. Propsperity can be in several different forms, not just monetary.
Being humble and helping others is what the word teaches. @Bang5luts Kind of a lot of differences between how birds live and how man lives though. For example, man is less likely to take a dump on a clean car.
@SW-User What is worse is that the conservative nuts are quick to point out how things like the love of money or being LGBT is a sin yet they never once seem against how people work on the day of the sabbath. Whether that is Saturday or Sunday is debatable but they do not try to argue with it.
Yeah there is a clause in the bible about how you can work if doing a good deed (saving one of your injured livestock) but ARE we to believe greedy corporations are doing a good deed or are they trying to profit?
