SW does sub for some of the outside world conversation I cant access easily now..My wife requires attention and managing her in company is a challenge. So a little conversation without her "involvement" is hard to come by..😷

Prior to Covid, I became pen-pals with an accomplished writer and Author who lives in NY, both of us being members of SW. During Covid lockdown time, he and I co-wrote a fiction novel by communicating with each other daily through a PM here on SW.
He would write a paragraph to show me, then I'd write a paragraph to follow it. This went back and forth until he had the novel completed, which saved his butt because he wasn't able to access his traditional office for a year and was getting some mental health issues starting because of it.

It was fun for me because I'd never co-written a book before, but it was also fun because his writing skills were poor in my opinion and I taught him some advanced writing skills and showed him how to self-edit his own work.
Prior to meeting up with me, he had already written 3 novels, whereas I don't even read novels, let alone write them!
