What's the best way to mop a really tough floor?

How do I get the F***** clean?

I've bought a few different mops. I just need the whole thing cleaned.

It hasn't been used in awhile. The bathtub is clogged. The sink has been cut off. Even though I haven't been using it, it just gets dirtier. I flush the toilet every weekend at least to prevent plumbing issues.

The floors are nasty though. What chemical will wipe that bs out? Because, it's tough. It's overwhelming. I don't think the type of mop matters vs the chemicals.

Swiffer mop isn't going to do it. Been using that just to remove extra debri. I don't want to ruin my new mop though. 🤦‍♀️

If it's a tile floor, try professional strength Nano Scrub Abrasive cleaner, (wear rubber gloves and use a scrub brush). It's supposed to get BELOW the stains on your floor.

Also, the grout, if it's a tile floor, will have to be restored using a grout paint, such as Polyblend #60 Charcoal grout renew.
Simple green. We use it at work. It cleans up oil and everything else.

@SooperSarah cool. Thanks!
@perceptivei best of luck!
Down on your hands and knees, just like you do when you want to do any "JOB" thoroughly.

What type of floor? Sounds like you might need a mop or a cleaner with some abrasives in it. Just have to be careful on the type of floor you use it on so you don’t scratch it up.

@awhitedot tile

@perceptivei for tile that is extremely dirty I would start with an abrasive cleaner like Comet and a stiff bristle brush or a mop with a scouring pad on it. Follow that with a regular mop and simple green. Probably going to require lots of elbow grease too sadly.

Lestoil in some hot water is pretty good (not on wood floor)
mop it multiple times with fresh hot water each time..

Is this an old ceramic tile floor? Or maybe a harsh cleaner was used (think acidic)? If so, the glaze may be worn or gone and that presents a whole new level of problems with getting it clean, and keeping it clean.
This will probably work but it is dangerous and might break something: toilet bowl cleaner in a rather strong concentration. Just let it sit for a little bit first. Then spot mop. This stuff is what I use to even clean the tub.
A dedicated floor machine like a Bissell, or a commercial rental; that washes and then extracts the wash water, then rinses the floor clean.

You may want to look into hiring a cleaning company for a deep clean to get it how you like it.
Then you can maintain it from there ??
Just a thought.

I guess the most useful piece of information would be "Whats the floor surface made of???"😷

@perceptivei OK. Get a plunger to the bath and get that drain moving, even if part blocked..
Maybe Drano will be needed.. Then get a hard bristle broom and a bucket with detergent and hot water, and vigorously brush the floor. Now a sponge mop to remove all that with clean water..Repeat if necessary, but three of those should clean a truck lube bay...And its cheaper than a gym membership..😷

I have a great steam cleaner, best to avoid chemicals if you can.

The pink stuff! ✨💅🏻
May have to get a hard brush and just scrub using bleach mixed with water.

White vinegar and water, it cuts the grease and kills germs too

I would use purple power and buy some rags and clean in sections
