Have you ever felt awkward around somebody?

Yes. I remember being teased mercilessly as a young kid and that led to constrained and awkward interaction until I reached a comfort level, and a concern for who may be watching. Then one day I discovered that I had a lisp, and suddenly I was being asked to repeat myself.

Thankfully I outgrew all that crap and rose above it :)
