How to you escape an awkward situation when you’re in a remote area?

I’m at my in-laws cottage and I’m so sick of hearing them talk about the family drama and who’s to blame and what we should be doing about it. My hubby is a part of the problem he just can’t tell them to stop talking about it. I want to shout at them all and I’m starting to lose my cool.

@UnderLockDown I did this today and it worked brilliantly bc I was about to get anchored into it again. I told them I wanted no part of it and left with the dog! Furthermore my in laws were grateful bc they said the dog really needed a walk. lol.
