I really don’t know when and how it happened

But I seem to have become quite socially awkward, I never used to be this way, but now I have to have some alcohol (apart from when I’m at church etc) and have to be pushed into going out. Maybe it’s just because as I’ve got older and gone out more, more negative stuff has happened (getting drunk and doing something embarrassing, getting scared of rowdy people, falling etc.)
I don’t know. 🫤😳🥺

We are entering a reality where people are aware of how they are being perceived! It is hard for some of us to accept this and continue acting in our truest form when we know that others are judging us. It may help if you set the intention to not judge others (not saying that you do, just something that helped me), and to do something my therapist called exposure activities, where you do little things to expose yourself on purpose. So that could be purposely dropping your keys in public, or starting a conversation with a stranger. It gets better and its completely normal and valid to feel this way <3

Thankyou for that, that’s so helpful! I will try to do some of those things, although even dropping something in public seems mortifying! @rubyaruba
