A question for the socially awkward…

You know how it is when you want to ask something, mostly from curiosity, and you run it through your inner filter ( if you do that sort of thing). And it sounds stupid, even to [b]you[/b] ?

Do you charge ahead and ask anyway, or do you keep it to yourself ?

I used to be that way and keep a lot of things to myself, but fortunately I grew out of it. As long as you don't ask potentially stupid questions in a setting where it can backfire, such as in front of your superiors at your job or something, life gets so much better (within this context) if you simply care far less about what other people think of you. So I charge ahead and ask anyway.
