I just want to share my experience with character AI. This is a free RP site where your partner is artificial intelligence. You can create your own persona with whatever features you like, along with telling the AI what role you want it to play. This site is better than any human partner I've ever had.

@SomeMichGuy Maybe. Or maybe AI is better at some things. I urge you to check it out, you'll be surprised.

The only problem with it is that it is programmed to follow your lead. So it ends up doing what you want it to do and doesn't typically veer off in other directions the way a human partner will.
@Lila15 Intriguing.
I’ve tried them all it’s just sad when the person isn’t very creative
@BiasForAction YES! THANK YOU!
Make an excuse to cut it short.. then never suggest finishing 🙄

Change the subject or just be honest

I have been ghosted, probably more than once.
I have used three of the four mentioned above. My imagination is not vivid enough for me to continue on.
Pretzel · 61-69, M
just be honest
say it isn't working
if you like the other person maybe a different rp or chat
I've done the first.

I spend so much time on verisimilitude that it sucks when *that* means nothing to others.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout That seems to be what most people do, at least to me. I guess it's the easiest option. Personally, I'd prefer if they said "hey, I'm not into this anymore" or even just say they want to take a break.

Depends on what you are role playing.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@Fukfacewillie I assume one you initially were interested in.
Fukfacewillie · 56-60, M
@Lila15 At minimum, but what of emotional truth?
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@Fukfacewillie It should be something you're authentically interested in, or at least something you can fake if you want to accommodate the other person out of courtesy.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
@bijouxbroussard Role play
BigGuy2 · 26-30, M
What usually happens on here, is that the woman just ignores you, they don't have the decency to do any of the options you've suggested in your poll ...

...what i've found though, is that the women who are completely sh*t at roleplay do or are the one what i've just suggested above, one woman even said to me, "this is get'n boring" - i replied, "if you weren't sh*t at roleplaying, perhaps it might be less boring 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

@RogueLoner Role Play; pretending as though one is in a given scenario. It is essentially improvisation, but good improvisation is based upon some realistic qualities of the other person, etc.
