One job I had sold food in the break room for people to keep their energy levels up. It was a fairly physical job. At one point a black employee wrote very largely on the suggestion board that we should stop selling bananas during Black History Month.

I couldn't tell if he was trolling or legit, but management shut it down right away. Said people needed nutritious options to keep themselves in working shape

@TinyViolins People can get so petty these days. I remember a few years ago they were getting upset because white people were using cotton stalks with the cotton bolls attached to make flower arrangements. They claimed it was racist to do that due to black slavery etc. I watched a video on You Tube by Peter Santenello interviewing a Black man who was born & raised in Mississippi. Said as a child he would help pick cotton to make money for the family. Took Mr. Santenello over to the same cotton field that he picked cotton from after it was harvested. They walked into the field and the man being interviewed picked some of the stalks with cotton bolls that the harvester missed and handed them to Mr Santenello and told him that he could keep them. One of my grandfathers was a sharecropper here in Oklahoma and the whole family picked cotton during the harvest.

How do they plan on "Canceling" someone who hasn't even been relevant for 75 years?

This is why DEI is on it's way out. They find racism in EVERYthing, even drudging up cr4p that happened before even MY generation's grandparents were born.

After a while, enough is enough.
