I'd certainly say I tend to prefer my own company with occasional excursions to the outside world.

Can be at times. Solitude is good once in a while.
For me anyway.

I don't prefer my own company overwhelmingly.

I have equal amounts of fun hanging out with my friends doing silly shit as sitting at home petting my cat and reading a book.

I could be, I enjoy being by myself and avoiding the world at large. I often find myself considering retiring and becoming a desert rat.

A lot of the time, yes. I still like to spend time with family...people close to me. I'm just not needing that whole "crowd" or "party" scene

For sure,I only relatively recently discovered I don't tend to get lonely
