Why does everyone only care about looks nowadays?

I think when we are in our 20's, our looks seem more important than our personalities, simply because the dating field is highly competitive, and men and women both are extremely shallow.

Some, BTW, never out grow that unfortunate trait.

@4meAndyou i agree, men and women eventually get use to 'looks' ... then they start looking what's behind the 'looks' and they may not like what they see ... ☹️☹️☹️

@BigGuy2 It's a sad fact that the best looking women and men, (usually), have never had to learn basic human kindness, compassion, and/or strength of character.

@4meAndyou i agree again, they have a particular kind of 'arrogance' ...

"I don't have to work at get'n a partner, as my 'looks' will make sure i get a partner, so no need to develop my skills in get'n a partner"

@BigGuy2 I pity them. They end up being very lonely and vicious people.

@4meAndyou 🤔 ah, but do they, once the person they're with sees they don't have a personality, or before the partner sees they don't, they move onto another person

@BigGuy2 Spreading the pain around....what a shame, if they do. No...I was thinking further in the future...because looks don't last forever.

@4meAndyou ah ... OK
