I asked a guy whether he cooks or whether he expects women to do all the work?

Is it a rude question? Because he once told me that working women manage household activities as well. It's taken as a given. So my impression of him is that he expects women to do all the work.

I taught my son to cook. I was working, and he had to start supper. I left him very easy menus and instructions. He made things like french bread pizzas, with pizza quik sauce. Nothing complicated. But it got him into the habit of cooking, and when he became an adult, he became an awesome cook!
