Movies are not real life.
They often exaggerate emotions and play on unhealthy issues for the sake of grabbing and holding the audience's attention.

Most people do like at least some reciprocal attention and feedback; that's a normal social need.
It's not helpful or healthy to wish to be the centre of anyone's attention.

If you have a strong need due to abuse or neglect by your caregivers when you were a kid, try to find some means of professional counselling with a psychologist. It's a profound need; one can learn to meet one's own needs on the inside.

The more we care about others, the more likely it is that at least some will reciprocate; those are the ones who become friends and partners.

The T-life can be tricky because so many still don't understand.

Yeah it's the same with me and Adventure Time lol, I think all friendships should be Finn and Jake. Even if they get mad at each other, they always have a way of working it out, just how they handle stuff I like.

They will. At some point life is going to put you in a crowd of people where you have an opportunity to have an impact on them, and they’ll respect you for it. Just keep your eye open. Don’t miss it.
