@TryingtoLava Dune has its own power. It’s crazy dark powerful. Neither is better. Just different.

@TryingtoLava Foresight, ancestral memories, extremely fine muscle control, super reaction speed, mental acuity, political power,a healthy dose of fear as well has being indispensable to the Great Houses makes the Bene Gesserit unparalleled when it comes to controlling the baseline masses.

The Jedi have some of these but they never went in for power, nor control. They ceded that to be filled by autocrats, oligarch's, nepotists and the shadow hand of the Sith.


In a one on fight I'd give it to the Jedi certainly, but in terms of which organisation is stronger, well have to give that to the Bene Gesserit.

@Longpatrol The Bene Gesserit kind of remind me of the Nightsisters of Star Wars, but they have not shown any movies of them really at all.

@Longpatrol missed opportunity as the Nightsisters are powerful… and not limited by the truest beleifs of the jedis.

@DarkHeaven I remember reading the EU novels and quite a few were set on Dathomir and it was a really interesting contrast to Luke civillised Jedi.

@Longpatrol Yup. And they are true balance. Power of the Sith but not beholden… and power of the Jedi, but not beholden. And their very own dark but cool powers. Their power of telekinesis, precognition, Force lightning, mind trick, possession, and healing… are unparalleled. They are Star Wars answer to the Bene Gesserit.
