Are you a geek or nerd?

BQ: what's the difference between geek and nerd?
I feel like a Nerd is someone who is extreemly knowledgeable about something or academic in general. A "mathlete"
Whereas a Geek might not nessisarily be a genius but is extreemly passionate about a specific topic.

I'd hope so.

As far as I'm concerned the two are interchangeable.

I reckon 'spod' is the one that no-one wants to be.

As far as I know a geek is someone who's socially awkward. A nerd is someone who loves books and studying.

Im a dork thank you very much Janet!!!
My own definition is a geek is more academic and likes lots of general knowledge topics. Whereas a nerd has a passion for D&D, videogames and other nerd culture stuff.
Then a dork to me is someone that could have either of those interests but is also socially awkward.

No, no way, I'm not a nerd.
