This is really sad but I don't have much to add :( only that I talk to people. Not for relationships but to help them out. For some people it's a way of life and to be shut out from day 1 is sometimes upsetting - though understandable.

I understand how you feel. This is part of the reason why I try my hardest not to be too open with guys. Yes, I'll still enjoy their company and be honest, but I'm not going to give 100% from the get-go. He has to make it clear that he likes me (even as a friend). Otherwise, there's only room for disaster.

Sad to hear, I'm sure the right guy is out there, just hard to find without getting hurt. I'm probably going to find the same thing once I get through my current heartbreak.

I hear ya. Circumstances have made it to where i don't have any friends in my life right now. And it sucks because i feel like i would be motivated to do more if i had some friends. Plus i get lonley
