I haven't had many older friends like that so I wouldn't know. But once again, I agree. It really seems like no matter how a strong an online friendship with a peer seems, there's still too much distance for it to be lasting and it can fall apart at any moment. Real life friends are different because you see them every day and it's a lot easier to have fun, but those friends are harder to make. They just happen, there's no method or logic involved it making friends like that. It's frustrating because you look around and it seems like it's so easy for everyone else to do it, and you're just left there alone and dumbstruck as to why you're the only one who can't do the same.

I dont even have much faith in real life frens anymore. I no longer talk to any of my old frens from high school. Friends would just drift apart thats it. They come into your life for a period of time and was there with you for part of the journey.

Its not like I cant talk, small talk , hold a conversation. I believe I have social anxiety. I cant even walk up to someone and talk to them. I dont have that kind of confidence in myself. I got scared even just go to the college office and ask for information. Its sucks

few of my internet frens I have talked to them for one year or two years. And they are mostly 30 - 40 years old and single

internet frens who are my age dont last long I guess. they got caught up with relationship and stuff.

The sad thing is internet frens is keeps me sane but what I really need is college frens to help me go through it :(
