I think it's misleading to try and compress human mental abilities into a single number. There's verbal intelligence, mathematical intelligence, organizational intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, emotional intelligence, and musical intelligence to name a few. Yes, they correlate to some extent, but compressing it all to a single number leaves out too much of the variation.

Most written tests can only look at the first two. However organizational and interpersonal intelligence, much harder to test for, are very important for success in the modern world.

My dear, remember that you’re a unique, capable human navigating this complex world just like the rest of us. Numbers on online tests don’t capture your true brilliance or your worth. Don’t let anyone’s skepticism or these imperfect measures shake your confidence. Go out there, own your space, and make your mark in your own way.

Depends on the test, how it was proctored and so on. And it likely doesn't really matter. Technically, I have an IQ of 152 (or I did at one point). I can guarantee you that I've never been that smart.

A lot of the online tests are inflated. One that I took years ago put mine at 152!!! (it's actually more like 120)

I had a book with ~12 IQ tests. I failed miserably on the first one (my IQ was essentially zero), but I came close to an Einstein-like level in the last one. Once I understood what it is which they call "intelligence" it's really an easy task.

I would say that you were lied to your IQ is definitely not 125...................just look at this that you posted.
